Students from Camberwell College of the Arts are to take to the streets of North London and offer people the opportunity of a free taxi ride to go south. The event/performance is part of their ongoing research into the phenomenon of the North and South differences and is to take place on Thursday 31st May 2007 starting at 10am outside Charing Cross train station and is part of the students submission for their Degree Show. Apparently there are literally tens of thousands of North Londoners who for one reason or another have never been south of the river. They are spending their student savings on the rent of a black taxi which they have booked for one day to discover why it is people do not want to travel south.
